This is a gift certificate that can be used as a credit for Six Foot Track Hike.

 

SIX FOOT TRACK TREK - 44km
Lets explore the amazing Jenolan Caves and learn some of the history behind them.
Lets complete 10 to 17km of day pack hiking and take in the amazing sights and sounds.
Lets enjoy camp side dinners and a campfire on night 3 adjacent to the Cox's River.
On Monday which is ANZAC day we will hold a small unofficial ceremony in remembrance of the service of our defence forces.

Join us for what could be one of the most memorable treks you complete in 2022 on the 44km one way hike from Jenolan Caves to the Blue Mountains called the Six Foot Track.

Fully supported trip.
You only have to carry a day pack. Tent provided.

Everyone who attends the trip gets a 3 nights travel incentive worth up to $800 at hotels around Australia. You can travel to most capital cities in Australia and major tourist destinations and stay at a choice of hotels. Conditions, taxes and fees apply but I have used a voucher myself and it works well and is excellent value.

Track Details

Distance: 44km

Start: Jenolan Caves House built in 1898

End: Nellies Glen Road, Great Western Hwy, Katoomba (Explorers Tree)

All dinners and breakfasts provided. Plenty of healthy options and they cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free.

We will have a support team on this hike. There will be one designated hike leader.

Parking
We recommend taking public transport. If you drive, where you leave the car in Katoomba is your own responsibility. Many of you will take the train from Central and Sydney train stations to Katoomba.

Accommodation
Friday Night: Camping at Black Range (about 10km from Jenolan Caves). We will transfer you from Katoomba to Black Range friday afternoon/evening.

At the end of the hike we will arrange transfer back to public transport at Katoomba Station.

TRIP INCLUDES
Friday Night
Pizza will be offered at our Pizza meeting point Station Bar just next to Katoomba Station between 430pm and 630pm. Supper consisting of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, buscuits and cakes including Gluten Free available at the camp site Friday night.

Transfers from Katoomba Train Station to Black Range Camping Area starting Friday evening at 630pm.

Its approximately 1.5 hours drive from Katoomba to the Black Range Camping Area. Tents will already be set up on your arrival.

Saturday
Day One 10.8km
700am Full Hot and Cold Breakfast Provided at Black Range
800am Transfers to Jenolan Caves
9.00am Tour of Jenolan Caves - Lucas Cave. (everyone really enjoyed last trip)
1100am Hike commences 2 hrs
1130am Lunch (Lunch not provided. Please bring your lunch for day one in your back pack)
1230pm Hike recommences 1.5 hrs
500pm Arrive at Black Range Camping Ground
600pm Hot Dinner Provided
700pm Night Activities

Sunday
Day Two 18.2 km
700am Hot and Cold Breakfast Provided Black Range
830am Hike continues 3hrs
1130am Lunch (Lunch not provided. Please bring your lunch for day two in your backpack)
1230pm Hike resumes 3hours
330pm Arrive at the Six Foot Track Eco Lodge (afternoon tea and drinks)
400pm Afternoon swim in Cox's River (its awesome)
600pm Hot Dinner Provided
700pm Night Activities and Chat
Camping accommodation provided.

Monday
Day Three 15.3km
700am Hot and Cold Breakfast Provided
830am Hike continues with crossing of the Swing Bridge soon after the start.
Lunch not supplied. Please bring snack items for lunch.
1.30pm to 3.00pm Arrive Explorers Tree at the top of the Blue Mountains
330pm Drinks at the finish
400pm Transfers to Public Transport for journey home. We will be transporting everyone from Explorers Tree to Katoomba train station.

Total Cost is $475pp`

Transport to Katoomba and return is at own cost.
