Australian University confirms: "Rochway MultiplyPLUS Probiotic increase “Natural Killer Cell Activity” by 46% ".
The Centre for Phytochemistry and Pharmacology at Southern Cross University Australia has completed stage one of a series of tests on Rochway’s “MultiplyPLUS” (Fermented Papaya and Pomegranate). Preliminary in vitro testing of MultiplyPLUS in human blood has shown significant stimulation of natural killer cell cytotoxic activity (NKCA) with an increase of up to 46%, and also granulocyte and monocytes phagocytic activity increases of up to 36 % and 21% respectively, compared to baseline controls.
The Oxford Medical dictionary’s definition of NKCA and Phagocytosis: Natural Killer Cell Activity (NK cell) is a type of lymphocyte that is able to kill virus- infected cells and cancerous cells. Phagocytosis refers to the engulfment and digestion of bacteria and other foreign particles by a cell.
