A group of four people stands in front of a modern 4WD vehicle parked in a wilderness setting. The background shows a rugged and remote landscape with a mix of greenery, rock formations, and a few trees. The individuals are all wearing hats, sunglasses, and comfortable outdoor clothing, including hiking boots. Two men stand on the left side, and two women stand on the right. They are all smiling and appear excited and ready for the adventure ahead. In the foreground, the text "TIP OF CAPE YORK AND COOKTOWN - 9 DAY TOUR" is written in bold letters, with the words "4WDs, camping, gourmet meals, and WOW activities included" below it.

ACCOMMODATION
Wilderness/Outback Australia no facilities camping (most of the time). We have a great portable shower and toilet. We will stay at a few places that have facilities.

It is an exciting time to travel after the wet season has finished.
The schedule of places we visit can change depending on weather, access, road closures, Government guidelines and time etc but like you we want to get to as many as possible.

THE OLD TELEGRAPH TRACK -
follows the original telegraph line through the Peninsula, and for much of the Cape’s history was the only available route.
The OTT is a rough road, 4WD access only and a 4WD enthusiasts' playground. It's only accessible during the dry season. It passes through some beautiful country with several creek and river crossings, and there are several patches of deep sand. Bush camps are set up at most creek crossings.

The OTT is an integral part of this memorable journey providing adventure, tradition and stunning scenery.
*Sky Road Trail only drive 2 small sections of the OTT but man are they FUN & bumpy!

BLOOMFIELD TRACK
Described as wild but beautiful, it is a bucket-list trip for local and international 4WD enthusiasts, flanked by pristine coastline on one side and ancient rainforest on the other. It starts 40km north of the Daintree River ferry and is around 100km long.
